Stuffed Cabbage Rolls (with Minced Meat).



Stuffed Cabbage Rolls Recipe (with Minced Meat):
Ingredients:

200g minced meat
1 onion (finely chopped)
50g of parsley (finely chopped)
100g of cheese (Any type you desire)
1 cabbage (washed)
100ml of tomato juice
Garlic depending on your taste
1 teaspoon of black pepper 
(If you like it spicy you can add a bit of red pepper too)
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of saffron
1 tablespoon of chamomile
1 teaspoon of cumin
1 teaspoon of olive oil

How to prepare the Stuffed Cabbage Rolls Recipe (with Minced Meat):

For the stuffing:
 In the pan; put one teaspoon of olive oil on medium heat on the stove, after 5 minutes add the chopped onions, the minced meat, garlic and spices.
Cooking time is 20 minutes.

For the cabbage:

The Cabbage before cooking in boiling water and after removing the bottom stem.
Remove the leaves cautiously; you might need to cut around the stem with a knife to release the leaves.



Put the mixture of the minced meat in the cabbage leaves.



Roll the cabbage leaf. As you see in the photo.




In the oven-tray; put the rolled cabbage leaves.



Add the tomato juice and a touch of parsley.


Add a touch of cheese.
Cooking time is 25 minutes.
Temperature is 170C°/388F°


This is a traditional Middle Eastern delicious dish (name in Arabic is Mahshi malfouf), It's White cabbage stuffed with minced meat and onions; some people add some rice to the stuffing mixture. The recipe is a bit long but easy. I tried to simplify it as much as I can with pictures. I hope you'll like it!
