How to prepare the Moroccan pastry (Halwat Sabli)


Moroccan pastry recipe (Halwat sabli):
Ingredients:
250g white flour
125g butter
125g powder sugar
A pinch of yeast
A pinch of salt
1 small glass of lemon juice
1 small glass of oil
2 eggs


How to prepare the Moroccan pastry recipe (Halwat Sabli):


Take a bowl and put the butter and powder sugar

After mixing you can add eggs and we mix them very well.

Add the lemon juice, the oil, the yeast and a pinch of salt.

Add the flour to the mixture; continue to stir until we get the dough.


We flatten the dough with the rolling pin.


Cut the dough with pastry cutter.


You can choose any shape you like.


Spread the butter on the tray and we put the pastries in the tray.


Put the tray in the oven for 25 minutes at temperature 170C°/338F.


After the pastries is finished cooking in the oven, add raspberry jam or chocolate.


Then dip it in the coconut powder.


You can serve the Moroccan pastry (Halwat Sabli) with tea, coffee or milk. Enjoy!
