How to Prepare the Moroccan Couscous



The ingredients to prepare the Moroccan Couscous or Couscous for 3 people:
500g of meat (Beef or lamb... depending on your taste)
4 small tomatoes

1 onion
3 carrots
1 small squash
2 turnips
100g of parsley
500g of Moroccan couscous
2 small glasses of olive oil
1 teaspoon of black pepper
1 teaspoon of red pepper
1 teaspoon of ginger
1 teaspoon of saffron
1 teaspoon of cinnamon





How to Prepare the Moroccan Couscous:
Put the meat in the pot on the stove.













Add the olive oil.




Add the onions















Add the tomatoes.
















Add the spices.
















Add the carrots and 2 turnips.
















Then add one liter of water and 1 hour of cooking.















After an hour of cooking we add the squash and the parsley. Then cook for 30 minutes.












There are two methods for making couscous and this is the easiest.
Put the Moroccan couscous in the pot on the medium heat.











Add a few drops of olive oil.
















Add a small glass of water and we stir














Add the tablespoon of butter and we continue stirring for ten minutes.













Put the cooked Moroccan couscous on the serving dish.















Put the cooked meat.
















Add the cooked vegetables.
The Moroccans eat couscous every Friday.
Personally, I love couscous, because it contains a lot of vegetables that contain many vitamins.
